Drake White has released "Makin' Me Look Good Again" as his newest single.

"Makin' Me Look Good Again" is one of the 12 tracks included on White's debut album, Spark, which was released in August. The tune begins with a down-tempo, piano-driven opening that immediately lets fans know the song is going to be ripe with emotion. Thirty seconds in, listeners will hear White's low, gravely voice sing about feeling "worn and haggard, weathered and torn ... I look like hell / I've seen better days" -- but the tune of the song changes when White sees his woman.

"And then those loving arms / They pull me back in," White sings. "And there you go, baby, yeah / Makin' me look good again."

“It’s the culmination of 32 years. My first 32 years,” White tells The Boot of his debut disc. “There’s thoughts and memories that go back to childhood with this thing. There’s influences from my dad’s record collection all the way to bluegrass festivals, to gospel music, to rock ‘n’ roll and reggae. There’s just so much diversity in it because it’s literally the first 32 years in my life.”

"Makin' Me Look Good Again," along with the rest of Spark, is available for download on Amazon and iTunes.
