ST. CLOUD -- With temps forecast to be in the 90's the next few days, health experts are reminding us to drink plenty of water, avoid the sun if possible and take numerous breaks.  Always wear sunscreen, wear light-colored clothing and consider wearing a wide-brimmed hat.

Melissa Hjelle is an Injury Prevention Specialist with St. Cloud Hospital. She says they are common sense tips, but we often lose track when we're busy.

Some symptoms of heat exhaustion include confusion, dizziness, feeling faint, fatigue, headaches and cramping. If the symptoms are bad or persist, call your doctor immediately.

Hjelle also reminds you to remember elderly neighbors and loved ones.  Check on them occasionally to make sure they are okay.  It's also important to bring pets indoors when possible and make sure animals have plenty of water and shade.
