I kind of love it when there is a movie that comes out in the Summer - as the "Big Summer Blockbuster".  That movie is/was probably the new Tom Cruise Mission Impossible movie.

But what about this one - Happy Gilmore 2 is coming out on Netflix July 25th.  AND, there are some fun promotional things that are coming along with it.

If you like Subway - and most people do, at least you can find a sandwich there that you like.  And, there is the great thing - you can pick whichever one you want for this particular promotion.

COLLECTIBLES

Subway has paired with Netflix to bring you a footlong sandwich of your choice along with some collectible cups.  There are 4 of those, and youi can collect them all.

Starting July 10, Subway customers can make any combo or Meal of the Day a Happy Gilmore Meal for $1 extra and receive a cup featuring one of the characters from the iconic movie. The limited-edition cups feature Happy Gilmore, Shooter McGavin and Hal L.—all characters from the original iconic golf movie—as well as Oscar, Happy’s new caddie

They have even added some great packaging that is inspired by Happy's Happy Place. If you remember during the first movie, it was like his dream-like happy world.  That's what you are supposed to get out of the packaging.  Ok.  I'll have to wait and see how that all plays out.

IT'S BEEN A WHILE

Unbelieveably, the original Happy Gilmore was released about 30 years ago.  There is no way it feels like it was that long ago.  Wow!  Now comes the second movie, although it will be going right to Netflix, no theatre release.  Look for it on the 25th of July, and the new Subway promotion will begin on July 10th.  Happy Happy!
