Gorgeous Lily in the Front Garden

This beautiful lily reached full blossom in the garden the other day.

My dad does landscaping for a living and so we always have pretty flowers at our house.  We have several gardens, including a heart shaped one in front of the house.

That's where this particular lily is planted.  I am not sure what type it is but we don't have a lot of color in this garden so it's was a welcome addition.  I love the deep red and white together.  It's a beautiful complement to the greens and browns.

I have to say my mom took an awesome picture of this.  I love the blurred background with the crystal clear flower in the front.  There is a technical term for this but she's the photography expert!
