NEW FEATURES FROM GOOGLE MAPS

Google Maps is getting ready to add new features with its latest update, including the ability to see where Officers are hiding to catch speeders as they fly by.

YOU WILL GET A TICKET

Now...for a person to be thinking about where they Police are hiding along the route, they will really have to be planning on speeding..and speeding typically seems to be a non-planned event. So if they catch you anyway...you'll SURELY  be getting a ticket.

Apparently, Google Maps thinks it's important enough that you would choose Google Maps over the traffic App Waze...that's the word on the street.

OTHER FEATURES

Would you use the app specifically for this feature? The update will also add more useful options to identify construction, lane closures, disabled vehicles, and objects in the road, which may be slowing down traffic.

An early version of the reporting feature is already available for Android, but updates have just started rolling out to Apple users.

OTHER FEATURES ARE GREAT

I AM an Apple user...and actually was using Google Maps this weekend coming back from around Brainerd, and it happened to show me where an accident was coming up in the road. When I got to that spot, the accident had already cleared...but I thought that was a new feature.

I've also noticed that it will let me know as I'm driving into a traffic jam that, even though there's no way out of it, I am approaching a traffic jam.
