NO FIRE FEST AT GLENSHEEN MANSION

If you were planning on attending Duluth's Glensheen Mansion's February 15th Fire Fest, not so fast.

About a week after making the announcement that they were going to be holding Fire Fest, which was supposed to feature campfires, hot chocolate and lots of on-sight activities on the grounds, the mansion has cancelled the event.

The Mansion says they've been able to throw together fun winter activities together in a short period of time for many, many years...but this one was just cutting it too close. I think the whole thing was based on building a huge fire out of a custom built 24 foot long wooden shark, which had already been constructed. Sounds exciting, right?

WHAT HAPPENS TO CLARK, THE WOODEN SHARK?

Glensheen apparently is already setting it's sights on a future event that will feature Clark,  the 24 foot long wooden shark that had been constructed to burn at Fire Fest. You can expect to see Clark featured sometime this summer.
