George Jones Cancels Minnesota Show, No Plans to Reschedule

If you were planning on seeing George Jones in concert, you are out of luck.  Jones is ill and has canceled a concert scheduled this week at Shooting Star Casino, Hotel and Event Center in Mahnomen.  That concert had been rescheduled from April, when Jones needed more time to recover from an upper respiratory infection.

Shooting Star says that the 81-year-old singer has "gotten a virus and is being treated by doctors." Jones apologized to his fans for the inconvenience. At this point there are "no plans to reschedule the performance" according to Shooting Star. By the way, ticket-buyers will receive a refund.
