Fun Event: Enjoy The ‘Hunting Widows Extravaganza’ Saturday in St. Cloud

DEER HUNTING NOT FOR YOU?

Deer hunting isn't for everyone, but there are plenty of fun things to do if the deer hunters in your house are in the woods. You can make them a crockpot full of chili, leave out some cheese and crackers, and grab your best friends and your purse to head out for some fun this weekend.

HUNTING WIDOW EXTRAVAGANZA!

The VFW Post 428 is having a Hunting Widows Extravaganza tomorrow, November 9th.

The event will be taking place from 9 am until 3 pm.

There will be 40 vendors on hand to shop til you drop and lunch will also be available.

SUPPORT THE ST CLOUD AREA CRISIS NURSERY

Donations are needed to support the St. Cloud Crisis Nursery.

The St. Cloud Area Crisis Nursery offers free child care and support for families 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is a non-profit organization that has been serving Stearns and Benton counties for over 25 years. The Crisis nursery helps families manage emergency situations and aids in the stability and well-being of parents and their children.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The Crisis Nursery needs volunteers to staff crisis lines from a home cell phone between 5 p.m. and 8 a.m. Volunteers will receive personal training on working the crisis line and working with families in need. The volunteer schedule is flexible. The Crisis Nursery provides free 24-hour support short-term care for children up to 12 years of age by licensed providers. The Crisis Nursery provides resources, referrals, and support for families.
