WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING FOR THE MINNESOTA FROST

In their most recent game of the Walter Cup semifinals, Minnesota pulled off a thrilling 5–4 overtime win on the road. Defenseman Jincy Roese delivered the game-winner just a few minutes into OT, marking a historic moment as the first overtime goal of her playoff career.

The game itself was a back-and-forth battle, featuring a standout performance from Montreal’s Laura Stacey, who recorded a hat trick, but Minnesota’s resilience ultimately stole the spotlight.

Leading into the playoffs, the Frost had struggled against Montreal, even dropping multiple regular-season matchups, but this win snapped that skid and gave Minnesota an early 1–0 series lead.
