UPDATED: Freeze Watches & Warnings Tonight
Your outdoor plants might need some protection tonight, as the National Weather Service has issued Freeze Watches & Warnings across our area, as temperatures could dip below 32 late tonight at Friday morning.
Another concern could be outdoor water pipes and hoses.
Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
The Freeze Watch now includes Stearns, Pope, and Kandiyohi Counties.
A Freeze Warning is in effect farther to the north and east tonight through tomorrow morning, and now includes Benton, Douglas, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Morrison, and Todd Counties.
From the National Weather Service this afternoon: Some parts of the forecast area are under a Freeze Warning or Freeze Watch for early tomorrow morning. Morning lows will be in the chilly 30s across the area.
