Board Member Audrey Kamphenkel has been showing boxers for the last three years. She says anyone interested in showing dogs should start with confirmation classes.

Find a mentor, first of all, and then start coming to some of the confirmation classes or obedience and some of those other things too.

The show is open to the public and the kennel club is asking for non –perishable food items in place of an admission cost.

The Granite City Kennel Club has been hosting an annual dog show since 1990.
