The Ledge Sets Date for Flannel Fest – Tickets on Sale Friday
I know that we are just about to head into Summer, the last thing on most people's minds is what are we going to do this Fall. But - might as well start planning some fun things because...why not?
FLANNEL FEST HAS BECOME AN ANNUAL TRADITION IN WAITE PARK
Flannel Fest at the Ledge Amphitheatre has been going on in Waite Park for a few years now, and every year it does seem to improve and also expand. Also - the weather is always changing for that weekend. It's usually on the same relative weekend, and some years it's been so cold you feel the need to wear a big coat and gloves. Maybe even a hat. Two years ago it was the opposite. It was SO HOT! Most people who did wear the traditional flannel shirt had it tied around their waist and just had on a t-shirt or a tank top. Minnesota is so odd.
EACH YEAR THERE IS SOMETHING NEW WITH IMPROVEMENTS
Whatever the weather, Flannel Fest is always a good time. This year, they have three bands planned to perform for the day. There are the breweries from the area all set up for sampling. You can also buy full pours, if you would like. Plus there are vendors with various things for you to buy and great food trucks to satisfy your every taste.
EARLY BIRD TICKETS GO ON SALE THIS FRIDAY
Early Bird tickets go on sale this Friday, May 15th at 10am. The actual event is scheduled for October 3rd from 3pm to 7pm. Ticket prices will continue to go up as we get closer to the actual event date. So, if you know you want to go to Flannel Fest, the best thing is to purchase your tickets as soon as you can, which happens to be this Friday at 10am. The general on sale will be on September 1st. And remember, this is a 21+ event.
