GREAT SHOW PLANNED FOR SATURDAY NIGHT

For those of you planning on heading to the new temporary St. Cloud Pop Up Cinema's Blake Shelton Concert this Saturday, July 25th, from 9:30 - 11:30 pm.  Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Trace Adkins. Trace has tons of hits and will popular with people who love their 90's country.

I attended the Garth Brooks Concert a few weeks ago, so I thought I'd give you a heads up of what to expect.

GET THERE EARLY

I arrived with the 98.1 Minnesota's New Country Truck around 7:30 pm and the parking lot was filled up. If you want to get their later, feel free; just know that the best seats in the house are closer to the big screen, in my opinion. However, that being said, there's not a bad seat in the house. I sat up front for a portion of it, and then moved to the back for most of it. It was easy to see, nice and clear and the sound was great.

SPACING

I was very impressed that the great staff directed traffic, and made sure that every vehicle was spaced apart, with a parking space in between every vehicle.

BATHROOMS

Very impressive that Crossroads Mall will give you access to the Mall bathrooms in the public shared area next to Target. I believe the bathrooms were open til 11 pm, which was nice, as the show goes until 11:30 pm.

FOOD AND FOOD VENDORS

When we were at the Garth Brooks concert, there was a food booth in the back from Fudgin' Delicious Ice Cream, and some of the restuarants in the Crossroads Mall FoodCourt stayed open for curb side pick up...maybe even carry out, which you just ordered your food online and then they would bring it to the door.

SOUND

The sound was great, and delivered through FM radio. You are encouraged to bring a battery powered speaker/radio to make sure you don't get a dead battery. Cars are not allowed to be running during the show, so that's something to keep in mind.

GET YOUR TICKETS

To get tickets for this event, you can click HERE now. Tickets are approximately $115 for a car full of 6 people or less. You'll get to to see Trace Adkins, Gwen Stefani AND Blake on the big screen. The Garth Brooks concert featured a newcomer who was very good. If you think a George Strait clone for the new generation; that's Randall King. Songs were great and he was a super singer. Definitely worth checking him out as well.
