My two-year-old son Charlie is in love with dinosaurs. To say he's obsessed would be an understatement. He can name nearly every dinosaur. He loves them all but his favorite is a compsognathus, they're a smaller theropod that typically grow to the size of a turkey.

If you or your child love dinosaurs, you're in luck! Dinosaur Adventure Drive-Thru is setting up shop for two weekends at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds! You can get tickets now for July 31 through August 9.

Because of the pandemic, you won't be able to get out of your vehicle to check out the dinosaurs, but you will be able to drive through the route and see 80 life-sized dinosaurs.

It's like a dinosaur parade route, and these dinosaurs look extremely life-like. Your kids probably won't be able to tell these things are fake. According to Dinosaur Adventure's website, the event features a 40-foot T-Rex along with a 30-foot Brachiosaurus, Triceratops, Velociraptor and more!

Portable restrooms will be available for guests at the entrance and exit. Tickets are sold per vehicle for up to 7 people. If you have more than that, you're asked to buy 'anytime tickets'.

Tickets are only being sold in advance on the Dinosaur Adventure website. You will not be able to get tickets on-site. Prices range from $29 to $70 depending on your ticket package. You can find more details on their website.

The Minnesota State Fairgrounds is located at 1265 Snelling Ave. N.  in Saint Paul.
