What a night! at the MAC on Friday night, January 16th, 2026, as the St. Cloud Norsemen ended the Watertown Shamrock's 10-game winning streak, with a 3-2 victory in a shootout.

It was also an exciting race for the Stanley Bowl in the 3rd Annual Doxie Dash, sponsored by SkateFreeCharlie, supporting Ruff Start Rescue, on Charlie Boike night.

$1000 RAISED FOR RUFF START RESCUE

Over $1,000 was raised for Ruff Start Rescue out of Princeton during the event, where attendees could vote and 'bet' for their favorite dogs, and took home $1000 in donated prizes in gift cards from some amazing area businesses.

22 WEINERS RACED FOR GLORY

22 dogs raced in this year's Doxie Dash, more than double the number in the first year. This is the third year of the race, and in previous years, there was only one race. This year, they changed it up.

CHAOS, CONFUSION AND CUTENESS OVERLOAD

As per usual, there were some Weiners that ran straight to the finish line, while others wanted to play with the dog next to them, and others just wanted to run around and play on the ice. Some were completely confused, and others simply wanted to get back into the arms of their owners and snuggle up.

THANK YOU EVERYONE

Ericka & Jeff Boike want to thank everyone for attending the St. Cloud Norsemen Game and cheering them on to a win! Thank you to the St Cloud Norsemen for making the 3rd Annual Doxie Dash possible, and all of the generous sponsors and volunteers who gave of their time and talents.

Will Miko return to defend his championship title and hang on to the Stanley Bowl for the 4th Annual Doxie Dash? Or will Louie come back and try to reclaim his spot as the King of the Weiners? You'll have to make plans to attend and find out.
