When you are at the airport it always feels like you are in a rush. A rush to get to the ticket counter, a rush to get to security, then we wait to get through security, but then it's a rush to the gate to get a chair and a power plug-in. And then you sit... until your boarding section is called and then we rush onto the plane...sound familiar? The next time you are at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport's T1, take a stroll to the C Concourse, and check out the mini-movie theater!

It's real, I had to verify that it was, but there is indeed a spot for you to relax and unwind with some entertainment while you wait for your flight out of winter. It's a first of its kind according to the airport.

Did You Know?

See 18 - located on the C concourse of Terminal 1 at MSP Airport - is the first state-of-the-art cinema in any major U.S. airport and features around-the-clock shorts, music videos, and award-winning documentaries from Minnesota’s film community.

This is pretty brilliant, and other airports might start looking at something like this to make travel a little more fun.

Of course, there isn't any cost to viewing one of the short films, videos, or documentaries that play while you are taking a moment to center yourself before you start the rush of travel again.

You can find the 'movie theater' between gates C17 and C19 on the C Concourse of the airport, and speaking of the airport, Dream Getaway is coming back in February, so you might want to start checking out warm weather destinations for when you win!
