Are you passionate about the Dairy industry? It's that time of year to think about becoming a Dairy Princess!

NOW IS THE TIME TO GET STARTED

Minnesota's Dairy Princess Program is a leadership program for young women who support the dairy industry. When you become a dairy princess, you will be sharing the dairy industry's importance in your local community, and you can also compete to promote dairy at the state level and possibly become Princess Kay of the Milky Way's 72nd princess.

Being a dairy princess is a great way to meet new people throughout the state of Minnesota, improve your public speaking and interviewing skills, and share your love of dairy by connecting with consumers.

HOW TO GET STARTED

To start your journey in becoming a dairy princess, and possibly moving forward to become Princess Kay of the Milky Way, you should contact your local princess coordinator for your area. You can also reach out to princesskaycoordinator@midwestdairy.com, and they can help you get started.

WHO CAN BE A DAIRY PRINCESS?

Females between the ages of 18 and 24 can apply to become a dairy princess. Note that if you are a senior in high school but not quite 18 yet, you ARE still eligible.

You must be a U.S. citizen, and you must have some connection to dairy through either being in a family that owns and operates a dairy farm or having parents working on a dairy farm. You could also be someone who cares for or custom raises dairy cattle for a farm in Minnesota, or you or your parents own or lease a dairy animal that might be housed on another dairy farm in Minnesota.
