Discover Vibrant Fall Colors Of Quarry Park- Stunning Photos
I always try to find just the right day in the fall to determine when we'll have the most vibrant fall colors, so I can go and capture them in a photograph. What usually happens is, I notice them all season long, and I never have my camera with me to take the photo.
That's why I'm glad Steven is one of those people who plan events like this! He was kind enough to share his fall photos of Quarry Park with us, and he also just had one of his photos featured on KARE 11. (Below)
A VISITOR GETS GREAT PHOTOS OF QUARRY PARK THIS FALL
A man named Steven Mosborg from Minneapolis, recently posted some of his beautiful photos that he took at Quarry Park. If you were looking to find some beautiful fall colors, but just can't get a great photo, then thank Steven, because he's bringing the fall colors to you directly with his beautiful photography.
Steven posted this message along with his photos:
''I'd heard of Quarry Park and Nature Preserve but had never been. Thought I'd wait until autumn and for the sun to come out before making the 1-1/2 hour drive for my first visit. So glad I did. Beauty and surprises everywhere Saturday afternoon.
"The park and preserve encompasses 684 acres on a site of 20 former granite mining quarries. Miles of trails wind through a wide variety of scenic nature areas, from woodlands and open prairie to wetland and unquarried bedrock areas with swimming and picnic options."
