Did You Know- The 2nd Longest MN Highway Runs Right Through St. Cloud?
LOOKING AT A MINNESOTA MAP
Have you ever studied a Minnesota Map? The first question is, where can you get a current Minnesota map?
WHERE CAN YOU GET AN ACTUAL MN MAP THESE DAYS?
The Official Minnesota State Highway Map is created every two years and you can get maps from the Minnesota Department of Transportation and Explore Minnesota Tourism.
VIEWING ONLINE
But if you just want to look at a map online, to study the state so you know where you're going as you travel north to south and east to west, you can just click HERE now. I learned from a recent post that MN 1 is the longest highway in the state of Minnesota.

INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT MN HIGHWAYS
What I found really interesting is that the 2nd longest state highway in Minnesota actually runs right through St. Cloud Minnesota. Do you know which highway it is?
WHAT HIGHWAY IS THE 2ND LONGEST IN THE STATE?
I guessed Highway 94, but I was wrong. The second longest state highway in Minnesota is about 344 miles long and runs from southwestern to northeastern Minnesota. It's MN -23.
WHAT CITIES ARE LINKED BY MN-23?
MN-23 links us to South Dakota. It is marked as an east-west route, which is confusing to me because it runs diagonally across the state, running southwest to northeast. (This is why I'm not good with directions. Tell me left or right, not north or south.)
MN-23 begins a mile east of the South Dakota border near Sioux Falls and ends in Duluth, connecting to I-35.
