ST. PAUL - Minnesota recorded 29 new COVID-19 deaths Tuesday, the second-highest daily total since the pandemic began.

It was also the highest since the record of 30 was set on May 6th. The overall total has risen to 777. 

The daily report from the Minnesota Department of Health shows the state has recorded 645 positive cases to raise the total to 17,670 out of more than 167,000 tests.
