Chris Young is gearing up to give his debut CMT Crossroads performance with his new buddy, pop star and frequent country collaborator Gavin DeGraw.

"He’s just ... a great guy and a phenomenal vocalist," Young tells the Tennesseean of the matchup. "He's had so many hits, and he's just someone I wanted to collaborate with. This is just the perfect time for us to get together and kind of riff on each other's songs and have a good time with it."

The concert taping (free and open to the public) will happen Nov. 26 in Franklin, Tenn., at Liberty Hall inside the Factory. Entry for the general admission show is 18 and up and will be on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 7PM. "

"We all love country music, and the best thing about country is the feeling of community around it," DeGraw adds, speaking of the genre. "Chris embodies that sense of community, not only in his music, but in real life as well. That’s why I’m excited to be part of 'Crossroads' with him.”

"Thanks for being a fan bro," Young replied, along with crying laughter emojis.
For fans who can't make it to the show, the pair's CMT Crossroads episode will air on CMT on Dec. 13.
