You might remember Chris Kroeze from season 15 of NBC's The Voice. Naturally on Team Blake because of his country sound, he ended up being the first runner up for the entire season. Funny thing is that he initially didn't want to do it. He is from Baron, Wisconsin and was having success playing venues around the Midwest when a talent scout reached out and asked him to do The Voice. He did it, and it paid off!

But that doesn't mean Chris lost touch with his small town roots. He is currently out on the Small Town Strong Tour, making stops throughout the summer in Minnesota and Wisconsin. I talked to Chris about it and he described his childhood to me of being over an hour from main concert venues. As an artist he wanted to bring his music to smaller towns to give back what he didn't have growing up.

Chris also spilled the beans on switching from cheering on the Pakers to the Vikings in the Favre years, and whether or not it is duck, duck, grey duck or goose. Check out our full interview with him in the video below!
