Great news for winter lovers (not so much if spring is your thing). The National Weather Service is saying that the threat of accumulating snow is increasing across Central Minnesota for Sunday Night & Monday -- with 6"+ not out of the question for some areas.

From the National Weather Service this morning: A massive storm system will move northward from the Southern Plains on Sunday spreading widespread rain across the region during the afternoon. The rain will likely mix with and turn to snow across portions of western and central Minnesota Sunday night and persist through Monday. The threat for accumulating snow is increasing along with the chance for 6" or more. Further east, bouts of heavy rain will occur, especially Sunday night, with amounts up to 2 inches possible by the time it ends late Monday.
