When the weather is warm, Minnesotans love heading outside to enjoy an evening under the stars with a good movie. Here are some drive-in movie nights and theaters that central Minnesota has to offer.

1. Long Drive-In Theater
The Long Drive-In is located in Long Prairie. It was voted “Best of Minnesota” on WCCO. They're open now for the season.

2. Starlite Drive-In Theater
The Starlite Drive-In Theater is located in Litchfield.It costs $7 for adults and $3 for kids 6-12. Children 5 and under are free. They're open now for the season.

3. Vali-Hi Drive-In
Vali Hi Drive-In is located in Lake Elmo and is open all week. Tickets cost $8.50 per person. Children ages 6-12 cost $1 and kids 5 and under are free. They're now open for the season.

4. Under The Stars Movies Series
St. Cloud Parks and Recreations will be hosting their annual ‘Under The Stars Movies’ series again this summer. The event happens on the third Thursday of each month in Whitney Memorial Park at 7:30 p.m. Concessions will be available and your admission is free with a local donation to the food shelf. The first movie night is set for June 15 with a showing of Sing. July 20th’s showing feature The Secret Life of Pets. The final movie night of the summer will be August 17 with a showing of Finding Dory.

5. Summer Movies in the Park 2017
Millstream Park in St. Joseph will host three outdoor movies this summer. The dates haven’t yet been announced. We’ll update you when dates and times become available.
