Easter is right around the corner, and if you're in the mood to celebrate a little eggs-tra this year, you've come to the right place. There are a variety of events planned throughout central Minnesota to help you get your fill on all things Easter and eggs!

  • Sauk Rapids-Rice Middle School is hosting Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 11th from 10 a.m. to noon. Tickets are $1 per person. Activities include and Easter egg dig, egg painting and more.
  • Grace United Methodist Church in St. Cloud is hosting an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 4. Doors open at 9:30 and the hunt starts at 10 a.m. Food will be served up and guests can also participate in Easter crafts. Kids will be separated into age groups during the hunt.
  • The Pantry in Sartell will be holding an Easter Bunny event on Saturday, March 28 from noon to 4 p.m. You can get free pictures and sample food you can buy for Easter dinner.

  • Monticello Community Center will be holding an Egg Dive Pool Party event on Friday, April 3 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and again from 6:30 p.m to 8:30 p.m. Plastic eggs will be dropped at certain times. Kids can collect the eggs. The event costs $15 for non-members and $7 for members.
  • Avon City Hall is hosting egg painting and kids crafts on Thursday, April 2 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Marcus Parkwood Cinema in Waite Park will be showing HOP on Saturday, April 11 at 10:30 a.m. Before the movie, starting at 9 a.m. you can take photos with the Easter Bunny, color at a coloring and craft station and go on an Easter egg hunt at 9:30 a.m.
  • Crow River Church is holding an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 11 at 9:30 a.m. for kids ages 2 to 5th grade.
  • The Hutchinson Mall is holding an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 11 at 10 a.m.
  • Grab breakfast with the Easter Bunny at the Monticello Community Center on Saturday, April 4. The event goes from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $7 for adults.
  • The City of Chanhassen is holding their 37th annual Easter Egg Candy Hunt on Saturday, April 11 starting at 9 a.m. at the City Center Park in Chanhassen.
