Celebrating One Woman’s Path To Gold – USA Hockey Team

ROCORI is celebrating one of their own, and rightfully so.

A familiar name to many in Central Minnesota is now shining on the world stage. Shari Dickerman, a proud ROCORI graduate and Hall of Fame inductee, recently helped lead Team USA to Olympic gold as an assistant coach for the USA Women’s National Ice Hockey Team!

SHARI DICKERSON HAS DONE IT!

Shari Dickerman’s journey didn’t happen overnight. Like so many great athletes and coaches, I'm sure it started with passion, grit, and a love for the game. I'm guessing that those early days at ROCORI helped shape not only her skills on the ice but also her leadership style. That is something that clearly carried her all the way to the Olympic stage.

And now she’s continuing to make waves right here in Minnesota.

 OLYMPIC HOCKEY COACH

Dickerman currently serves as the Head Women’s Hockey Coach at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where she’s building a program, mentoring athletes, and shaping the next generation of players both on and off the ice.

For kids growing up in Central Minnesota right now, this isn’t just a headline. It’s proof. Proof that you don’t have to come from a huge city or a powerhouse program to make it big. You can come from any great Minnesota town like ROCORI. You can come from a small-town rink. You can dream big..and actually get there.
