When I think of a Margarita, I think of hot days by the ocean in some Mexican port.  But, things being the way they are that might be as possible or easy as it used to be.  So, look at what we have here in St. Cloud.  One thing we do have in a plethora of Mexican restaurants.  And pretty much all of them serve a mean marg.  Some have many flavors as well.

This is a day when we can pretend that it's warm out, or at least realize that there are some warmer days to come sooner than later... in theory.

Here are some of the best ones that I have found.

Mexican Village downtown St. Cloud.  They have their normal Margarita Mondays, so this just adds to the fun!  They have a few sizes and many flavors.  Plus blended, crushed ice or on the rocks.  Personally I like the "on the rocks" version because the blended ones always get stuck in the straw and wind up giving me an "ice cream headache".  That's only if you drink to quickly, but why wouldn't you?  Right?

LaCasita Mexican Restaurant.  Again, they have great margs too!  They also offer $1 off all margaritas on Mondays.  So, that's a great choice too.  Many flavors and grab some chips and salsa while you're indulging in the margaritas.

Anejos- Waite Park and Sartell.  These guys also have great Margaritas.  You do need to call ahead and make a reservation.  As stated on their website- they are operating at 50% capacity, just like everyone else.

Whatever your pick for some awesome margaritas, at these or some of the other great Mexican restaurants we have in town... or maybe just a regular restaurant that serves margs, celebrate accordingly.  And remember- it's great to support local restaurants.  And also, even if the restaurant does happen to be a chain, the workers are local.  So, you are helping them too.
