Catholic Charities to Auction Off $10,000 Bottle of Bourbon for Fundraising Event

ST. CLOUD -- Catholic Charities of St. Cloud is auctioning off a $10,000 bottle of Bourbon whiskey.

The bottle is from Buffalo Trace Distillery and was one of 200 collectible bottles. The distillery gives these collectible bottles to charities that present the best reasons why their charity deserves the bottle.

Catholic Charities Communications Coordinator Trina Dietz says the money from the auction will go toward buying groceries for hungry families.

Dietz says the bottle could generate about $40,000 to $90,000 worth of groceries.

You can submit your bid now online with the bidding ending at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th which is the night of the annual Catholic Charities Mardi Gras celebration.
