Cathedral Baseball Tops Luverne 4-1

The Cathedral baseball team defeated Luverne 4-1 in the Class AA State Tournament quarterfinals at Dick Putz Field in St. Cloud Thursday morning.  Jeff Fasching threw all 7 innings with 1 run and 1 hit allowed to get the win. Tom Imholte drove in a pair of runs for the Crusaders.

Cathedral will play the winner of the Kasson-Mantorville vs. Hermantown game at noon Friday.  Hear the game on AM 1240-WJON.  Jay Caldwell will call the action.
