‘Bridesmaids’ Stars Bring Back Martin Scorsese Drinking Game for 2012 Oscars

‘Bridesmaids’ may not have won an award at the 2012 Oscars, but Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph and Rose Byrne definitely made the ceremony more enjoyable to watch.

Aside from Wiig and Rudolph’s stance that size “kind of” does matter (at least when it comes to short films vs. full-length movies), McCarthy and Byrnes brought back our favorite Martin Scorsese drinking game from the SAG Awards.

However, they inadvertently started a new tradition of taking shots before presenting an Academy Award. Hopefully the rest of the presenters from now on will follow suit. We’d never have to worry about the Oscars being boring ever again.
