Brad Paisley Announces 2017 Weekend Warrior World Tour
Brad Paisley has announced his 2017 Weekend Warrior World Tour, which will see the country superstar performing across the United States and internationally, with stops in Norway and Sweden.
The U.S. leg of the tour will host opening acts Dustin Lynch, Chase Bryant and Lindsay Ell, while Bryant will also tag on to all international dates. Ell will be part of all U.S. and Canadian dates.
The tour, sponsored by Band Against Cancer with Sarah Cannon/the Cancer Institute of HCA Healthcare, launches May 18 in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. As part of the partnership, Paisley is providing an opportunity for fans to engage in the cause by creating a ‘Get One, Give One’ campaign for his new album Love and War. When fans purchase the album via bandagainstcancer.com or bradpaisley.com for $15, they can also send a free additional copy to a cancer patient.
Love and War is Paisley's eleventh album and ninth consecutive album to hit No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Country Albums chart. Released on April 21, Paisley co-produced all 15 tracks with Luke Wooten, getting production assists from John Carter Cash on "Gold All Over the Ground" and famed R&B/hip-hop producer Timbaland on “Grey Goose Chase” and “Solar Power Girl.”
Fans got a taste of Love and War early, as Paisley promoted singles such as "Today" and "Selfie #theinternetisforever" on digital services prior to the release. His latest single, "Last Time for Everything," currently sits at No. 42 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart.
