Body Pulled from Popular Minnesota & Wisconsin Waterway
Hudson, WI (KROC-AM News)- Authorities are investigating after a body was pulled from a waterway that doubles at the Minnesota-Wisconsin border.
Limited information is available, however a news release issued on Sunday says the body discovery was made over the weekend.
The Hudson Police Department says officers responded to the report of a body in the water of the St. Croix River shortly before 8 a.m. The body was found along Lakefront Park on the Wisconsin side of the river just north of the I-94 bridge.
The person was described to be dead upon discovery. No other details regarding the deceased individual have been released.
The depth of the water the body was found in and distance the body was from the shore is not available.
Although officials are describing the investigation as active, they have stated there is believed to be no threat or danger to the community.
