Blood, Sweat, and Cheers: Scenes from the Minnesota State Wrestling Tournament

It's the third and final day at the Xcel Energy Center. Tonight, we will see new state champions crowned in an electric atmosphere. For those people that have gone to the state tournament, you know it's a sea of emotion, and many of us there are just along for the ride.

Last night photographer Erin Johnson took some pictures from the 2nd session of the State Wrestling Tournament. Here are some of those photos from the 2nd session.

Holdingford's singlets have caught the eye of at least one media personality at the tournament.

Some estimates put about 60,000 people walking through the doors of the X this weekend just for prep wrestling; now that's an eye-popping number.
