
Big Snow Headed for Southern Minnesota
It's still a couple of days away, but winter weather watches and advisories have already been posted for the southern part of Minnesota -- including Rochester, Red Wing, Mankato, and Albert Lea, for up to a foot of snow Wednesday and Wednesday night. Happy Spring!

From the National Weather Service this afternoon: A powerful winter storm will move into the area starting Wednesday afternoon and lasting through Thursday morning. The location of the heaviest snow is still uncertain, but 8 to 12+ inches of snow is expected in the heavy snow band. At this time, the best potential for heavy snow is across southern MN and western WI. A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for this area.
