As we approach Christmas and the end of another great year, I want to say thank you to everyone who listens, calls in, talks to us online and supports what we do!

2015 will go on the books as the year of divorce, loss, new beginnings and success in country music. Here are some big things that happened this year in country!

Sad news

  • Bake Shelton and Miranda split up, call it quits, get divorced and more words of the sort.
  •  Reba calls it quits with her long-time husband.
  • Eddy Montgomery and Randy Rogers both lost children this year. Keith Urban lost his father.
  • We lost some great country musicians like; Little Jimmy Dickens, Lynn Anderson, Jim Ed Brown, Billy Block and Billy Joe Royal.

Now on to the good news!

  •  Kenny Chesney sets numerous stadium attendance records during his "Big Revival Tour" with Jason Aldean--including his concerts at Target Field in Minneapolis.
  • Jana Kramer had a baby girl!
  • Shania Twain went on tour again...AND so did Garth Brooks!
  • Chris Jansen released his single "Buy Me A Boat." When I think 2015, I think of this song. I'm still not sick of it!
  • A number of stars are officially off the market including; Jason Aldean, Eric Paslay, Tyler Farr, Randy Houser and Jana Kramer.

Are there any big news items that I'm missing? None-the-less, 2015 was a BIG year for country music fans! I can't wait to see what 2016 has in store! Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
