St. Cloud Restaurant Features Unique Item Loaded With Flavor
I'm convinced when we get to heaven, St. Peter is going to say "Welcome, have a shotgun shell!"
Full disclosure, I am a paid endorser of “Up in Smoke BBQ” in St. Cloud.

But I was eating there regularly before my partnership with them. Actually, that’s what led to my partnership. So, I know I’m partial to their food, and the folks who own it, Tim and Tamara.
I also know that they offer one of the more unique menu items I’ve ever had, The Shotgun Shell.
When I first started eating there, I was so focused on the fact that their Pulled Pork Bar-B-Q reminded me so much of the Bar-B-Q of my home state in North Carolina. But then the name "Shotgun Shell" caught attention.
When I finally tried one, it was like my tastebuds were giving a standing ovation. Here’s what a Shotgun Shell is from Up in Smoke BBQ;
Manicotti tube noodle stuffed with their house Italian sausage, beef and cheese mix. The manicotti tube is wrapped in bacon, smoked and glazed with the house honey pineapple sauce.
I’ve told a lot of folks the honey pineapple sauce is the real deal; you’ve got to try it.
From the first time I tried one, I was hooked. The mixture of all the ingredients coming together at one time, but each standing out so that they aren’t overshadowed by any of the other was a nice surprise.
I had never heard of this invention before working with Tim and the gang at Up in Smoke, but it’s become one of my favorite menu items they offer.
The Shotgun Shells from Up in Smoke BBQ are only available on Saturday’s so please keep that in mind. But, since we’re coming to the end of Restaurant Week in St. Cloud, it would be a great time to try a Shotgun Shell for yourself.
By the way, check out Up in Smoke deals on The Value Connection for a $20 certificate for $11 or a $50 certificate for only $29 for a limited time.
