Times are hard for people right now. I see people struggling, working hard, doing the best they can, and inevitably, something happens, and sets them back even further.

With life throwing curveballs in every direction, some people don't have the support system they need to get through when times get tough. That's when we reach out and say hey...can anyone out there help?

I'm sharing this story I received from a mother of three from the Little Falls area, who is in desperate need of help. It's not that she seeks help because she isn't trying; she has been. Then a medical procedure put her out of commission.

'Ashley is a devoted single mother of three, with two of her children still at home. Both are facing serious mental health challenges, and her youngest is living with autism and high-needs behaviors.

Despite everything, Ashley works tirelessly to give her children the stability and love they deserve, while battling her own mental health issues.

Over the past few months, life has become especially overwhelming. Ashley had to undergo an unexpected emergency surgery at the end of August, forcing her to miss a significant amount of work while also caring for her children through some of their most difficult moments.

She has been doing everything she can, but the weight of these challenges has made it impossible to keep up.

Right now, Ashley needs help to get her rent caught up or she is facing eviction. She also wishes to give her kids a chance to experience the joy of Christmas during a year that has been anything but easy.
