Every year when the weather starts to get warmer, we all celebrate the change of seasons.  This is the time when you can sit outside, be fairly comfortable, people are wearing shorts with sweatshirts (because it might get cold again). This is also the sweet time when we don't really have a bug issue, and sitting outside in the sunshine can be very pleasant.

Driving.  That can be another thing altogether because of the potholes.  We have Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring and Pothole season.

Luckily, a lot of the roads have had some new construction on them, and the potholes aren't nearly as bad as they used to be.  But they are still there on the roads that didn't get the attention last year.  And those little (sometimes big) buggers can really surprise you if you don't see them before it's too late.  When you hit one of them it can feel like you just put a giant dent into the front of your car.  You get out and look and usually there isn't anything visibly wrong with your car, but you might want to get your alignment checked.

What should you do if there is a giant pot hole on the route you drive regularly?  Well, first try and avoid it if at all possible, and next, you can report that to either the city of St. Cloud if it's in town, or MNDOT if it's on a state highway.

There are several construction projects that are scheduled to begin within the next month or so.  Lincoln Avenue is on that construction schedule.  That's a good thing because that road is in need of a lot of attention.  Although it might be inconvenient for awhile.  But it's something that we all need to go through for any sort of improvement.
