CHRIS YOUNG'S 7TH ALBUM DEBUTS AT NUMBER ONE

Chris Young's seventh album, Losing Sleep, debuts this week at Number One on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart. This is his second consecutive studio album to debut at the top of the Albums Chart. BLAKE SHELTONS SURPRISE HALLOWEEN VISITS 

Blake Shelton gave New York City a country music Halloween yesterday with a surprise appearance on NBC’s Today show. Blake performed his single, “I’ll Name The Dogs,” and also a brand new track, “I Lived It,” following its world premiere earlier in the day. Both songs are featured on Blake's brand new album, Texoma Shore, which arrives at retail this Friday. He will be on two more stages this week while on the east coast -- Late Night with Seth Meyers tonight, followed by Live With Kelly and Ryan…. to celebrate his album release day this Friday.

 

HOLIDAY MOVIE "THE STAR" FEATURES COUNTRY ARTISTS

Kelsea Ballerini, Jessie James Decker and Jake Owen are just some of the artists featured on the soundtrack to the new animated holiday film, The Star. Other artists who contributed music to the movie include Mariah Carey, Fifth Harmony, Pentatonix and Casting Crowns. The Star soundtrack is in stores now, and opens in theaters on Friday, November 17th. It also features the voices of Kelly Clarkson & Kris Kristofferson, plus many others.
