5 Summertime By George Pro-Tips for 2019

Summertime By George is in full swing for the 2019 season. Here are a few things to keep in mind if you plan on attending!

1. Take a Trolly

Parking around Lake George can be a hassle on Wednesday afternoons. Skip the headache and park in a Downtown ramp. There are 12 different places the trolly picks up and drops off making getting to and from Lake George super easy. Plus it's free!

2. Bring a Seat

Whether it is an actual chair, a blanket or even a beach towel, it will save you from having to sit in the grass.

3. Wear Sensible Shoes

I get it, you want to look cute. But there is a little walking involved, and if you want to do a few laps around the lake, you'll want sensible shoes. Save the flip flops for another day.

4. Bring cash for Eastman Tavern and Middle Town Market

Eastman Tavern is the ‘beer garden’ area next to the stage, and Middle Town Market is the area where all the food and other vendors set up. Having cash with you already will save a stop at an ATM.

5. Take Part in the Raffle Extravaganza

Last year the grand prize was a two year car lease from Eich Motor Company! There were also round trip travel vouchers, years of free gas, and even a ride along evening with the St. Cloud Police Department. There are a lot of cool prizes, you just gotta buy a raffle ticket while you are there.
