2016 To Feature Outdoor Minnesota Wild Game At TCF Bank Stadium

The NHL announced yesterday that the Minnesota Wild will host the Chicago Blackhawks outdoors at TCF Bank Stadium on February 21, 2016. It will be the Wild's first outdoor game. It will be Chicago's fourth outdoor game, and it's third in three years.

The TCF Bank Stadium matchup will be one of three outdoor games next season. Boston and Montreal will face off at Gillette Stadium on New Year's Day in the Bridgestone Winter Classic. Colorado will play host to Detroit in the second Stadium Series game, at Coors Field on February 27th.
