The 10th ranked Michigan State Spartans routed the Gopher men’s basketball team 68-52 Wednesday night in East Lansing, Michigan.  Minnesota trailed by 10 at halftime and cut the lead to as close as 5 points in the 2nd half.  Rodney Williams led the Gophers with 15 points and both Joe Coleman and Julian Welch each added 9 points.

Minnesota is 3-5 in the Big Ten and 15-6 overall.  The Gophers host Illinois at 7pm Saturday, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:30.
