The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for portions of Central Minnesota including Sherburne County in effect from 6 AM Monday through Noon on Tuesday. A mix of freezing rain, snow, and sleet are possible. Stay tuned for updates.

From the National Weather Service this morning: Cold but dry weather is expected this weekend, until a storm system lifts toward the area Sunday Night and Monday. There is still quite a bit of uncertainty on precipitation types with this system, but it appears that freezing rain is possible along with ice accumulations from south into east central Minnesota and central Wisconsin. Several inches of snow are also possible into Tuesday. Stay tuned to future forecasts and updates regarding this developing system.
