I finally got my copy of Nashville Kat's new cookbook, The Happy Husband Cookbook! I don't have a husband and neither does Wolf but the Iced Orange Chocolate Chip Cookies made us both happy. Very happy. Try them.

Yes, it's true - I eat lots of stuff that I shouldn't. Parents know, though, that only the best is good enough for our little darlings. Which is why I made homemade animal crackers (yes, I know they look like hearts - haven't you ever seen a wild heart out in the woods?) for my little girl.

I'm pretty sure there isn't anyone out there that doesn't love at least one kind of Girl Scout cookie...right? I am totally a Thin Mint lover (actually they are more like an obsession) but I'm excited to give this new cookie called Savannah Smiles a try.

Well, Darn! This stuff is good. I've always loved peppermint bark but the stuff is so darn fancy (and fancy on my wallet, know what I mean?). But this you can make yourself and it starts with a box of Saltines (or if your wallet is feeling a little fancied, like mine - then the Food Club soda cracker).

It's time to fire up the oven and bake some Christmas cookies! I have a thing for cookies that look like cute little animals so when I saw Martha Stewart's mice cookies I knew I had to bake them. I should have known better.

Not cookies FOR your puppy and not puppies IN your cookies (Goodness! We're not talking horses here!) but cookies that LOOK like puppies. Just the cutest little puppies you've ever seen and (bonus!) the mess they make is entirely edible. ...

Ahhh, sweet, cool breezes…finally, the heat has broken and today’s high of 85 seems so reasonable after what we’ve been through for the last few days. Though cooler temperatures probably averted a trip to the loony bin for some of us, I did grab my opportunity yesterday while it was still scorching to bake some cookies in my car. Yeah, you heard me; I baked cookies in my car!

I love Easter candy but with a two-year-old in the house we suddenly have way more Easter candy than any person should attempt to eat. My downfall (those evil Cadbury people) are the Cadbury Mini Eggs. I thought if I crushed them and put them into cookies I might slow down my consumption.
