Martina McBride and Billy Ray Cyrus were part of a star-studded three-day event over the weekend (Aug. 22-24) to honor legendary rock group the Beatles. The two country singers joined with several other artists at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the the group's first appearance in the city.
On Saturday (July 5), Billy Ray Cyrus paid tribute to Michael Landsberry, a Nevada teacher shot by a 12-year-old student at Sparks Middle School last year (Oct. 21). Cyrus dubbed the late teacher a "true American hero."
