Procession Takes Officer Tom Decker Through the Towns He Served [PHOTOS]
COLLEGEVILLE -- A hearse carrying the body of slain Cold Spring Police Officer Tom Decker has left funeral services at St. John's Abbey Church in Collegeville.
The hearse is now part of a long procession of cars -- many of them law enforcement squad cars -- that will travel from Collegeville to Richmond to Cold Spring and finally to the St. Nicholas Catholic Cemetery.
Decker worked as an officer in Richmond and Cold Spring.
Hundreds of people are lined-up in those communities and along the procession route to pay their respects to the 31-year-old Decker, who was shot and killed Thursday night responding to a welfare check call in Cold Spring.
No one has yet been charged in his ambush killing.
