Monticello One of the Minnesota Towns With the Most Ashley Madison Accounts

Well, this might be a little awkward at the next neighborhood get together!

RoadSnacks analyzed the data and were able to put together a list of the Minnesota cities with the most Ashley Madison accounts.  Beware, you're in for a bit of a surprise!

Ashley Madison is website that was hacked earlier this summer.  I guess you go there if you're looking to have an affair.  According to this article, the website had over 30 million accounts and about 150,000 were for people in Minnesota.  Whoa, those are some pretty big numbers!

My sister is the one who sent me this and never, ever in my wildest dreams did I think St. Cloud or my hometown would make the list....but they did.  St. Cloud came in at #2 and Monticello at #7.  So who came in at #1?  You'd think it would be a Minneapolis or St. Paul, maybe even Rochester.  Nope, it was St. Francis.  Are you serious???

The other cities that made the list (in order) are Mankato, Virginia, Moorhead, Minneapolis, Duluth, Marshall and St. Paul.

I personally can't get over Monticello being on this list.  It's a bit mind blowing to me because the town isn't that big, especially not compared to some of the other towns on the list and I know a lot of people.  I'm not judging, your personal life is none of my business and vice versa.  But, seriously, this could be a neighbor or someone else you know.

Monticello is still a fairly small town, people gossip and all of that gets around.  I can't help but think that as we pass each other the street we'll be wondering, 'were you an Ashley Madison user?'
