If you've ever walked by the break room and thought "what in the world is that awful smell" you're not alone. In fact, there are many foods that can come off as "offensive" to your co-workers.

The "Huffington Post" recently ranked the top nine smelliest foods that are sure to offend one of your colleagues.

I'm guilty of making popcorn at work. Sadly, it made the list of one of the most offensive foods to eat at the workplace. See what else made the list!

1. Fish that you put in the community microwave.

2.  Hot dogs. No thanks.

3.  Any other kind of fish.

4.  Kimchi.

5.  Hard-boiled eggs. I think we can all agree. I don't think I need to explain this one.

6.  Raw onions. I love them, but I've noticed that whenever someone is dealing with raw onions in the break room, the food that I am eating starts to taste like them too.

7.  Reheated Chinese. I'm getting a stomach ache just thinking about smelling this.

8.  Fast food. It only bothers me when I'm trying to eat healthy. The second I smell french fries, I have an instant craving.

9.  Popcorn. I personally love the smell of popcorn. I makes me feel like I'm at the movie theater.

Now that you're reevaluating what you had for lunch today, did you or a co-worker eat anything that made this list? I think I'm going to keep sticking with my peanut butter and banana sandwiches.
