Keith Urban Releases Album Cover For “Fuse” And is Confirmed For Return to “American Idol”

It's official! Keith Urban is back for round two.

After a painful season of watching American Idol, painful because of the terrible decision to have Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj part of the judges panel... Chairman of Entertainment for the Fox Broadcasting Company, Kevin Reilly, has confirmed that Urban is coming back to judge the contestants.

Reilly said this morning (August 1) at Fox's Television Critics Association panel, "I will confirm that Keith is returning to show"... "Keith did a great job last year. Fans really loved him. Keith's a really funny guy. He didn't get to shine last year."

As for Minaj and Carey, the further away they are from "Idol", the better.

Randy Jackson, the original dog on the panel since the beginning, called it quits after last season.

Fox has not announced any other judges yet, but they are speaking with former judge, Jennifer Lopez.
