Food Nooz: Coca-Cannabis-Cola?

This is real.

Coca-Cola - the soft drink that once had cocaine as an ingredient - is now considering making a drink infused with cannabis.

Just a quick reminder that cannabis is marijuana.

Now, to be fair, they're looking at using cannabidiol, not THC. THC is the psychoactive chemical that gets you high. Cannabidiol (more commonly known as CBD oil) is non-psychoactive, so you wouldn't get stoned by drinking this (currently) theoretical Coke, but you could get some of the benefits of CBD oil, such as pain reduction and anxiety relief.

So how do people feel about the possibility of Pot Coke (my term...inaccurate but damn hilarious!)? Shares for Coca-Cola and Aurora Cannabis Inc.- the company that Coca-Cola may work with - rose when news of the possible alliance broke.

So I guess you could say that there's a chance!
